Did this section as part of another longer circular route starting and ending in Alos de Balaguer, this section has great new road surfaces and well laid out corners, the road alternates between 2 lane and 3 lane for trucks to crawl up the climbs. If you have a more off road orientated bike then there are lots of dirt trails heading off up into the mountains. Would love to go back again, there is so much to see and explore in this area and the views are spectacular.
Just signed up to put this route up. I was surprised no one had put it up before. I did it twice yesterday and its sodding marvelous! Its only short, 50km? It really is one of the best bits of roads I have ever been on. Very good surface and its all bends! Its up and down too so you are flying into a bend down a steep gradient, scared me witless!I have no idea what it is normally like but at 4 pm on a Sunday there was hardly any traffic and saw no police at all. If you are in the area dont miss it.
